Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre (CRHCC) is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians. Join Nova Scotia's thriving healthcare ecosystem, where your expertise is valued and your contributions drive innovative, compassionate care for generations to come.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership in the resuscitation and stabilization of major trauma patients and critically ill patients Appropriately assess and manage the full spectrum of emergency medicine presentations from injury to unexpected and undifferentiated medical and surgical illness in all ages, to mental health emergencies Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care. Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority. Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities. Expected Hours
Permanent Full-time Full-time is defined at 1340 hours per annum, and will involve rotational shift work, including nights, weekends and holidays Current shifts are 12h in length with potential for an evening cover shift Occasional rotations through other Northern Zone Emergency Departments may be required to meet critical operational requirements Remuneration
