    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Suffern, NY office.  </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hydrogeologic /geologic investigations</li>\n <li>Pumping test supervision</li>\n <li>Water-quality sampling</li>\n <li>Streamflow gaging</li>\n <li>GIS map/graphics generation </li>\n <li>Soil sampling and logging during well installation </li>\n <li>Permit and report writing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology </li>\n <li>A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting</li>\n <li>Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings</li>\n <li>Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Some travel will be required to conduct field work </li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range $54,000 - $68,000 Based on Education</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
