Individuals in this position will be responsible for actively providing hospitality, operational support, and ensuring the well-being of our guests by offering guest engagement year-round. Areas include, but are not limited to displays, events, shows, and talks. Responsibilities include:&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Proactive interaction with guests and co-workers using Longwood Gardens standards of hospitality</span></li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Supporting events both indoors and outdoors, which includes but is not limited to hosting coat checks, answering questions, assisting guests with wayfinding, driving the garden golf cart shuttles, supporting event photography sessions and supporting the overall logistics of the event.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Monitoring and preparing assigned areas for guest readiness, including operational tasks such as placing signage, providing wayfinding, and managing crowd control during busy visitation periods&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Operating the garden golf cart shuttles and vehicles</span></li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Identifying, reporting, and responding to safety concerns in accordance with Longwood policy&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Participating in training sessions and meetings to gain knowledge for effectively interacting with guests&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>This is a part-time, year-round (not seasonal) role that will begin in June 2026.&nbsp;</strong></span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Schedules are built around business needs, which vary seasonally.
