At Klaviyo, we value the unique backgrounds, experiences and perspectives each Klaviyo (we call ourselves Klaviyos) brings to our workplace each and every day. We believe everyone deserves a fair shot at success and appreciate the experiences each person brings beyond the traditional job requirements. If you’re a close but not exact match with the description, we hope you’ll still consider applying. Want to learn more about life at Klaviyo? Visit klaviyo.com/careers to see how we empower creators to own their own destiny. We're looking for a Director of Product Marketing to lead the core positioning, messaging, and go-to-market of our Klaviyo Marketing (aka K:Marketing) solution line. You're a leader who wants to establish a strong POV and voice that cuts through the noise in the marketing automation software landscape. As competitors expand into full suites and AI-focused startups pop up, you and your team will be tasked with driving category leadership across our full omnichannel suite — including our newest frontier: AI agents that do the work of marketing for B2C brands. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, love both the art and science of storytelling, and want to not only do the best work of your career, but also inspire and coach our team of passionate product marketers to do the best work of their careers, this role is for you! How you'll make a difference: Lead a team of product marketers who are responsible for: Crafting differentiated, unified positioning & messaging for Klaviyo Marketing — spanning omnichannel automation, AI agents (Marketing Agent, Customer Agent, and Composer), and our full channel suite: email, SMS/RCS, WhatsApp, mobile push, and social Partnering with Product Managers as the voice of our customers, GTM teams, and the market to help shape our product roadmap — particularly as we scale our AI agent capabilities Launching new, innovative features and products into market that cut through the noisy marketing automation landscape — from net-new channels to agentic AI that autonomously builds campaigns, flows, and strategies Establishing Klaviyo as the definitive thought leader in B2C marketing by developing a strong POV on what it means for AI to handle the work of marketing — not just assist it Building core sales and marketing assets such as pitch decks, one pagers, enablement trainings, and more Supporting our Sales teams in strategic deals that require deep product expertise and a strong understanding of B2C customer needs and use cases Collaborating with our GTM PMM team to tailor messaging and create sales plays for our various target audience segments Who you are: 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing roles, ideally with a stint marketing to Marketing buyers (yes, slightly meta) 3+ years of experience directly managing and coaching individual contributors, building the next generation of great product marketers Know what great work looks like — bringing in frameworks and playbooks for our team, while knowing when to create our own playbook to move fast Have examples of great positioning and messaging that cut through the noise and differentiated your product or service — ideally in a landscape as crowded as marketing automation A clear perspective on AI and what it means for marketing practitioners — you understand the shift from "AI features" to "AI that acts," and can translate that into compelling narratives for buyers Unafraid of rolling up your sleeves and diving into the work, be it creating messaging, pitch decks, or other assets Love and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or marketing automation software is a major plus; experience marketing AI products or agentic software is a strong differentiator Massachusetts Applicants: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
