Accrued time is available to use immediately!</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Annual Salary:&nbsp;</strong>$140,000 - $170,000</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Project Manager to lead the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations from traditional paper-based processes to a fully integrated paperless Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, software evaluation, and implementation within job shop manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution &mdash; from needs assessment and vendor selection to full deployment and team adoption.</p><p>This role requires not only strong technical and organizational skills but also exceptional communication and emotional intelligence to lead change management efforts and gain cross-functional buy-in.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The project Manager will:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the MES Transformation Project</li><li>Oversee the end-to-end transition from paper-based to paperless manufacturing systems.</li><li>Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.</li><li>Software Sourcing and Evaluation</li><li>Conduct needs assessments across departments (production, quality, logistics, etc.).</li><li>Research, shortlist, and evaluate MES and related digital solutions.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, RFPs, and demo processes.</li><li>Lead cost-benefit analysis and make software recommendations to leadership.</li><li>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Change Management</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, IT, quality, engineering and leadership.</li><li>Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and feedback loops to ensure user adoption.</li><li>Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Implementation &amp; Integration</li><li>Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration with existing ERP and shop-floor systems.</li><li>Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.</li><li>Post-Implementation Support</li><li>Define KPIs and success metrics; ensure data integrity and user satisfaction post-launch.</li><li>Iterate and improve system processes based on feedback and performance analysis.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated success in leading MES or digital transformation projects in a factory setting.</li><li>Proven experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing enterprise or manufacturing software solutions.</li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, workflows, and shop-floor operations.</li><li>Knowledgeable in industry available MES (and ERP) systems.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills &mdash; capable of guiding teams through change with empathy and clarity.</li><li>Experience with data conversion.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; PMP or similar certification is a plus.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><p>5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>For over 30 years SEKISUI Aerospace has been designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products for the aerospace industry.
