About the role An individual employed to assist in the activities of the administrator, staff, volunteers, patients and families of Hospice. This involves the performance of a variety of clerical and volunteer coordination duties as assigned. Essential Job Functions Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values. Responsible for on-call services, as assigned. Maintains records associated with Hospice service benefits: medical equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, levels of service, and coordinates with the appropriate vendor or billing personnel when needed. Assists with the referral/ admission/ discharge process flows as it relates to medical records and hospice care and services. Work cooperatively and professionally with Hospice Director, Patient Care Coordinators and hospice staff in identifying and recruiting for Volunteer needs. Maintains volunteer records including but not limited to; patient visits, recruitment, onboarding, recognition and retention efforts, volunteer hours, etc. Works collaboratively with care teams regarding volunteer assignments. Maintain and support office operations including office supplies and forms, admission packets, forms, and computer/ technology support. Performs other similar duties, as needed.
