Description
Established in 1969, Cigarette Racing has innovative vision and legendary style. Cigarette boats are uniquely hand-crafted in the United States and known globally for power, comfort, and luxury. Our high-level execution and premium quality are second to none and we stay committed to building the finest powerboats and center consoles in the world.
We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Assembler to join our production support team. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing various parts of boats, including hulls, decks, engines, and other essential systems. Your role will ensure the boats are built to high-quality standards and are ready for use by customers. If you have a passion for marine vessels and enjoy working with hands-on mechanical tasks, we invite you to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble boats according to detailed specifications, including installing decks, hulls, engines, mechanical systems, and electrical components. Install and secure various boat parts, such as seats, controls, fuel systems, and electrical wiring. Ensure that all boat components are correctly aligned, sealed, and secured to meet safety and performance standards. Conduct routine quality checks during the assembly process to ensure parts are functioning correctly and meet company standards. Work with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues that may arise. Test assembled boats to verify their performance, including engine functionality, steering, electrical systems, and safety equipment. Perform minor repairs and adjustments to boat parts as needed during the assembly process. Follow safety procedures and adhere to safety standards when operating tools and machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of assembly projects.
This list is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may be subject to adjustment based on the evolving needs of the business.
