    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\">Summary:&nbsp;</p><p>The Specimen Processor is responsible for all incoming specimens and requisitions being handled and delegated to the appropriate department for testing. &nbsp;</p><p>Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:</p><p>Must have phlebotomy experience</p><p>&bull; Be alert and aware always to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency.</p><p>&bull; Proper identification of samples by two (2) identifiers</p><p>&bull; Ensure all specimens have been collected for tests that were ordered</p><p>&bull; Record samples received at the bottom of requisition</p><p>&bull; Access specimen integrity</p><p>&bull; Able to follow specimen rejection procedure</p><p>&bull; Properly aliquots specimens for send outs</p><p>&bull; Knowledgeable of specimen storage requirements</p><p>&bull; Familiar with all ADL storage areas and able to retrieve specimens for add-ons</p><p>&bull; Follow universal precautions</p><p>&bull; Copies requisitions per ADL procedure when required</p><p>&bull; Follows chain of custody protocol</p><p>&bull; Able to communicate any issues with supervisor/manager when identified</p><p>&bull; Enter entire requisition into LIS software (paying special attention to handwritten directions)</p><p>&bull; Scan requisitions in Autoclip for documentation control</p><p>&bull; When necessary collect specimens from patients for use by clinicians and/or medical technologists for clinical analyses, evaluations, and/or diagnostic procedures</p><p>&bull; Check-in all couriers and phlebotomist ensuring they sign-in in the proper logs</p><p>&bull; Properly disposes of specimens</p><p>&bull; Entering insurance data into the lab software</p><p>&bull; The ability to check insurance eligibility</p><p id=\"isPasted\">Required Education and Experience:</p><p>&bull; High School Diploma</p><p>&bull; Intermediate experience with Lab Software</p><p>&bull; Strong attention to detail</p><p>&bull; Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.</p><p>&bull; Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.</p><p>&bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with varying levels of difficulty.</p><p>&bull; A problem solver with the ability to interact with others.</p><p>&bull; Excellent listening skills and the ability to use good judgment.</p><p>&bull; Has strong work ethics</p><p>&bull; Dependable and has ability to produce quality work.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
