Join a fast-paced, hands-on team that values integrity, reliability, and career growth.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Customer Service & Product Knowledge </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide service to customers entering the warehouse</li>\n <li>Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Warehouse Operations & Maintenance </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform minor building maintenance when necessary</li>\n <li>Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials</li>\n <li>Allocate and move material to its correct place and ensure an orderly warehouse at all times</li>\n <li>Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Safety</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) requirements to maintain a safe working environment</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment safety shoes and clothing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Trainings  </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend and participate in all required company training programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation</li>\n <li>Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day</li>\n <li>Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers  </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n <li>***Union role</li>\n <li>***Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, nonnegotiable </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred</li>\n <li>High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Branch Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation</u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position.
