    "description": "<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p>Rehab in Motion</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Rehab In Motion is expanding in Tarboro, NC!</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position: Physical Therapist</li>\n <li>Employment Type: Full-Time </li>\n <li>Location: Barlcay House at Tarboro</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Sign on Bonus Available</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong><u>Who we are looking for:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An experienced PT, enthusiastic about empowering clients with strength & independence</li>\n <li>You are familiar with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Geriatric and/or Outpatient Settings</li>\n <li>You value flexibility, autonomy and providing personalized one-on-one care</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What you will receive: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Free Continuing Education Hours with Medbridge Access</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off/Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Medical/Dental/Vision/401K</li>\n <li>Work Life Balance - Flexible Schedule</li>\n <li>Provide 1:1 Patient Care</li>\n <li>Professional Growth Opportunities</li>\n <li>Supportive Leadership and Team Environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What you will do: </u></strong>Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans</li>\n <li>Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences</li>\n <li>Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for safety, and provide referral and education resources </li>\n <li>Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members</li>\n <li>Supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants as needed</li>\n <li>Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> <strong><u>What you will need:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program </li>\n <li>Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicing</li>\n <li>Current Live CPR Certification</li>\n <li>Two-step TB skin test required</li>\n <li>Proof of Auto Insurance</li>\n <li>Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge of evidence based therapy interventions</li>\n <li>Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions </li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures</li>\n <li>Duties require fine motor skills,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods</li>\n <li>Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times</li>\n <li>A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on the specific location policy, local or state regulations to verify that he/she is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Rehab in Motion, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, is devoted to elevating the physical and emotional wellbeing of older adults through physical, occupational and speech therapies.
