This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise while working closely with project teams, contractors, and clients in the field.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and approved submittals </li>\n <li>Verify quality of completed work through field measurements, computations, and monitoring of contractor quality control efforts </li>\n <li>Identify nonconforming work and support evaluation of corrective actions to ensure acceptability </li>\n <li>Review contractor payment applications, change orders, and quantities of completed work to support progress payments</li>\n <li>Coordinate with owners, contractors, and project teams while maintaining clear reports and accurate project records</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of related construction observation experience required</li>\n <li>SCDOT certification in asphalt and earthwork preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of construction techniques and ability to comprehend construction documents</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project teams and assisting senior team members with complex projects</li>\n <li>Strong communication and mathematics skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required; extensive travel may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Make a measurable impact by ensuring high‑quality, safe, and sustainable construction</li>\n <li>Grow your career in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment committed to excellence</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Construction Inspection team is doing?
