As a staff compliance auditor, you will make a difference by ensuring compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standards through partnership with registered entities in the Western Interconnection.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In your role as the staff compliance auditor, you will satisfy the audit schedule requirements of the Entity Oversight Program according to NERC’s delegation agreement with WECC. In addition, this position is a center point for cross-functional work with the Entity Risk Assessment and Enforcement and Mitigation teams in WECC.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>While WECC's headquarters is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, this position is <strong>remote-eligible</strong> for candidates residing in the Western Interconnection. Time spent traveling is expected to be a minimum of 15% for this role, though business needs may require additional travel on occasion.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>You will—&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive on-site and off-site audits throughout the Western Interconnection following the NERC O&amp;P Reliability Standards and WECC Regional Reliability Standards. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate and assess the compliance of periodic data submissions from registered entities. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Lead compliance reviews associated with the NERC Events Analysis program. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and update compliance status reports. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Give subject matter expert and technical support to the Risk, Oversight Planning, Enforcement, and Mitigation departments on self-reporting assessments and mitigation plan acceptance, including the review of evidence to confirm the entity’s return to compliance. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Review mitigation plans and other mitigating actions taken by entities to restore compliance and minimize or prevent future noncompliance. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in the daily administration of the Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP). &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in ERO activities and working groups, as requested.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
