The Counselor Tech position is not authorized to provide AOD Services to program participants unless registered or certified. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.</p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ensure the security of the facility through the continuous monitoring of the grounds and facility.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">General client supervision in daily living activities and general program operation.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Make copies of necessary program paperwork.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Place documentation in client files.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ensure all scheduled activities occur at the specified time.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Prepare client activity reports and other reports as requested.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Search incoming property and shopping bags.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Conduct medication calls at specified timeframes and according to policy.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ensure assignments given to residents are completed.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ensure that residents comply with program rules.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Monitor trip logs and conduct visual contact searches to ensure residents returning to the facility are not under the influence of any substance.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.</li>\n\t<li>Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Perform all other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n</div>\n",
