    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Tooling technicians are responsible for all mold maintenance and quick response and improvement repairs to ensure production runs smoothly.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mold preventive maintenance (light PM/full PM/cooling line cleaner, etc.)</li>\n <li>Immediately repair molds that develop problems during production</li>\n <li>Modify production molds according to Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)</li>\n <li>Repair production molds and A/S molds</li>\n <li>Create and maintain post-repair reporting documents</li>\n <li>Maintain spare mold parts</li>\n <li>Maintain an organized workspace according to 3R5S standards</li>\n <li>Wear all necessary equipment, protective gear, or clothing</li>\n <li>Prompt, regular, predictable attendance</li>\n <li>Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours</li>\n <li>Overtime and weekend work as required</li>\n <li>All other job duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications </u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>4 years of experience in Mold and Tooling in the automotive industry</li>\n <li>2 years of experience in Mold and Tooling in precision machining</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Good organizational skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques</li>\n <li>Knowledge of manufacturing technology and trends</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of a relevant training course and experience as a mold technician</li>\n <li>Proficient in milling, lathe, grinding, laser welding, and argon welding</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Traversing around production floor</li>\n <li>Operating hand tools</li>\n <li>Ascending/descending ladders</li>\n <li>Occasionally lifting 40-45 lbs.</li>\n <li>Position hours are 1:00 P.M.- 12:00 M.</li>\n <li>Work hours are subject to change to meet production needs</li>\n <li>Overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>",
