This individual will serve as a roving technical resource, partnering with local maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, drive reliability improvements, support major capital projects, and ensure mechanical systems meet safety, performance, and cost standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy process environment required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Background in steel, metals, or similar heavy industries preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks and mechanical design tools preferred</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% (air and car) to support facilities as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial machinery</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with capital project budgeting, CMMS systems, and reliability programs</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide expert-level mechanical troubleshooting across all facilities for critical plant equipment (e.g., motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, piping, furnaces, compressors, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigate recurring failures or downtime trends and implement corrective actions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support root cause analyses in coordination with plant maintenance and reliability teams</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead or support the planning, design, and execution of small to mid-size capital projects across the network</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with facility leadership on project scopes, equipment specifications, vendor selection, and timeline adherence</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support new equipment commissioning and mechanical startup oversight</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as a technical liaison to local maintenance teams&mdash;sharing best practices, standardizing procedures, and mentoring on mechanical diagnostics and repairs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluate and optimize PM/PdM routines across sites</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in spare parts assessments and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and execute opportunities to enhance uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve energy and mechanical efficiency</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommend design upgrades and mechanical system modifications based on field observations and plant needs</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>*Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750; free concierge primary care; voluntary 401k plan currently matching up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life, long and short-term disability coverage.</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>EOE M/F/D/V</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\" data-pasted=\"true\">#IND11</span></em></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
