We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in design, contract administration and inspection.&nbsp; Experience in CADD software (AutoCAD and MicroStation) and drafting experience are an asset. Candidate should be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various disciplines. Recent graduates with some co-op and/or work experience are also encouraged to apply.</p>\n<p>This opportunity will allow you to work on high-profile projects specifically in the Electrical Engineering Transportation Industry, working alongside senior members, junior staff and opportunity to work with our clients and contractors.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>This role sits within the larger Global Mobility Business Area. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<p>The Electrical Engineer will support Management and Senior Engineers in the development and administration of Roadway Lighting systems contracts. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can multitask with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, contribute as a collaborative team player across projects both within and beyond their immediate team, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities along with effective written and oral communication skills.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to make changes or revisions to existing and new drawings using CADD software,</li>\n <li>Ability to work with the design team in preparing conceptual and detailed design layouts and detailed drawings for various projects,&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to utilize CADD (AutoCAD and MicroStation) software to prepare preliminary electrical layout design and detail drawings for a wide range of infrastructure projects (including layout plans, detail design, wiring schematics, equipment summary tables and charts, cross-section, and elevation drawings),</li>\n <li>Ability to coordinate drawings with other disciplines, and team members, and coordination of drawing filling systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to coordinate design teams, contractors and clients.</li>\n <li>Ability to review construction documents and resolve technical and design issues.</li>\n <li>Conduct site inspections as necessary to monitor progress and confirm compliance with contract documents.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain project documentation i.e. meeting minutes, RFIs, contemplated change orders etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Electrical Engineering Degree</li>\n <li>Up to 3 years of related CADD Design experience and/or Contract Administration experience</li>\n <li>Advanced skills using both AutoCAD and MicroStation and drafting experience</li>\n <li>Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft suite of products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project are expected, Microsoft Visio skills are an asset</li>\n <li>Local travel should be anticipated.&nbsp; A valid Ontario “G” license with access to reliable transportation is an asset.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
