Description
Plant Operations Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our manufacturing plant. This leadership role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality plant operations, while providing guidance and oversight to plant personnel in the absence of the Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities:
Open the plant and manage daily operations to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient production processes. Lead and supervise plant personnel, providing direction, motivation, and support to maintain high performance standards. Perform all job duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Safely batch concrete and load trucks according to order specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met while maintaining operational efficiency. Conduct quality checks on sand moisture, slumps, and temperatures according to scheduled procedures. Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper operation and timely maintenance to prevent downtime. Assist in training and developing team members to enhance skills and safety awareness. Actively motivate team members to achieve production goals and uphold company values. Support the Plant Manager in various operational tasks and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in plant operations, manufacturing, or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of concrete batching, quality control, and safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
