This job involves both leading and managing staff on a daily basis. The Assistant Director will have a daily checklist of tasks and duties to be completed, which includes, but is not limited to, assisting with creating staff schedules, program area maintenance and care including our live animal museum and native plant nursery, being primarily responsible for supply management and inventory for all activities, and overseeing the general efficiency of activities throughout the day. The Assistant Director must have a thorough understanding of the YMCA’s mission and goals, and a desire to work with children, adults, and other types of groups.
