The clinic is based at <strong>St. Joseph’s Hospital–South</strong> in <strong>Riverview, Florida</strong>,with surgical cases performed at our satellite hospital locations throughout the region. This will provide access to multiple facilities, ensuring the best setting for each patient’s needs. In 2030, <strong>St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital</strong> will open a new state-of-the-art facility, further enhancing our ability to provide exceptional pediatric orthopedic care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our collaborative environment includes a highly skilled team of orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, pediatric subspecialists, and a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will have access to <strong>advanced surgical suites, dedicated OR time, and the latest surgical technology</strong> to manage a wide range of pediatric orthopedic cases, including multiple fracture types. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected group with a robust referral network and strong community presence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are especially seeking a surgeon with a <strong>special interest in hip arthroscopy and hip surgery</strong>. <strong>We are willing to provide training and mentorship</strong> for candidates eager to develop these skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnose and treat pediatric orthopedic conditions, including trauma and multiple fracture types.</li>\n <li>Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions using advanced surgical technology.</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, physicians, and APPs.</li>\n <li><p>Share call coverage equally among <strong>five surgeons</strong>, including an adult traumatologist.</p></li>\n <li>Participate in practice growth and development within a supportive, collegial environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>MD or DO</strong> degree from an accredited medical school.</li>\n <li>Completion of an <strong>accredited orthopedic surgery residency</strong> and <strong>fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery</strong>.</li>\n <li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.</li>\n <li>Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).</li>\n <li><strong>Special interest in hip arthroscopy and hip surgery</strong> <strong>preferred</strong> — willing to train if interested.</li>\n <li>Strong commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of pediatric orthopedic care in the Tampa Bay area while joining a collegial and well-supported team.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>BayCare Medical Group offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to attract and retain top talent.
