Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Associate will </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">oversee UBH’s volunteer program while managing a portfolio of approximately 100 small to mid-level </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">individual donors, helping to strengthen donor relationships and build the pipeline for future major gifts.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Roles &amp; responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Volunteer Engagement</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead UBH’s volunteer program including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and stewardship.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage corporate volunteer days, group service projects, and community partnerships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead volunteer stewardship efforts, including appreciation, recognition, feedback collection, and donor </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">conversion opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Track volunteer data, hours, demographics, and impact stories for reporting and grants.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate in-kind donations, including Adopt-A-Family and other volunteer-driven giving programs.</span><br></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Individual Giving &amp; Donor Engagement</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage and cultivate a portfolio of 100 small to mid-level individual donors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct donor outreach through calls, emails, notes, and event invitations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support donor retention and upgrades through personalized stewardship and engagement.</span><br></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Development Operations</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain donor and volunteer records in Salesforce CRM.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Process donations and acknowledgements and support donor stewardship efforts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with fundraising events, donor communications, and annual giving campaigns.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct prospect research and prepare reports on donor and volunteer engagement.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">2–5 years of experience in nonprofit administration, development support, or volunteer coordination.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong relationship-building and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with CRM systems, data entry, reporting, and gift processing <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(Salesforce REQUIRED)</span>.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience supporting fundraising events and donor engagement activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Passion for social impact, community engagement, and housing stability.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Professional Growth Opportunity</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This position is designed as a launchpad for a career in frontline fundraising.
