    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Reporting to the Plant Manager this role is primarily responsible for operating Amada EMLK and de-nesting parts cut by the EMLK and metal finishing as needed, identifying and organizing the EMLK cut parts in a Just-in-time fabrication shop. This position also may be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machine as required. Availability on 1st or 2nd shift. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operation of Amanda EMLK 3610 NT CNC Laser Turret combination press equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintaining all tooling libraries and equipment for daily operation.</li>\n <li>Operation of Amanda EMLK 3610 NT CNC Laser Turret combination press equipment. </li>\n <li>Interacting with Operations, Engineering and Production Planning for issues related to daily work orders and scheduling.</li>\n <li>Loading and unloading of all products to and from machines.</li>\n <li>Assists department in use of other sheet metal fabrication machines including press brakes, rolls, sheers, drill presses, spot welders.</li>\n <li>Welding experience is a plus.</li>\n <li>Experience working with Trump or equivalent punch/laser combination machines would be considered.</li>\n <li>Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.</li>\n <li>Follows safety guidelines and demonstrates safe work practices.</li>\n <li>Follows all workplace rules.</li>\n <li>Completes all paperwork neatly and accurately.</li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p></li>\n <ul>\n  <ul>\n   <ul>\n    <li>Should have strong Laser, Turret Punch or CNC machine operating background</li>\n    <li>Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.</li>\n    <li>Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.</li>\n    <li>Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.</li>\n    <li>Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.</li>\n    <li>Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.</li>\n    <li>Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.</li>\n    <li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n    <li>Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.</li>\n    <li>Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.</li>\n    <li>Ability to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations.</li>\n    <li>Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.</li>\n    <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.</li>\n    <li>Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.</li>\n    <li>Safety conscious behavior.</li>\n    <li>Excellent attendance</li>\n   </ul>\n  </ul>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>\n   <ul>\n    <li>Previous experience working within a highly technical environment. </li>\n    <li>Perform setups and operations on CO2 Lasers and/or Turret Punch.</li>\n    <li>Can understand and program G and M code machine language.</li>\n    <li>Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.</li>\n    <li>Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.</li>\n   </ul></li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Expectations</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Activity:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Activity</strong></p>\n<p><strong>N/A</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Occasionally</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Frequently</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Regularly</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Average lbs.</strong></p>\n<p>Lift/Carry</p>   \n<strong>X</strong>\n<p>50</p>\n<p>Push/Pull</p>   \n<strong>X</strong>\n<p>50</p>\n<p>Reach Overhead</p>   \n<strong>X</strong>\n<p><strong>Comments:   </strong>Moderate to heavy physical effort required to perform the basis essentials of the job.
