As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.</p>\n<p>Join S&amp;C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!</p>\n<p><strong>Work Arrangement: </strong>Onsite</p>\n<p><strong>Work Term:</strong>&nbsp;4 Months (Sept. 2026 - Dec. 2026)</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong></p>\n<p>At S&amp;C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. <strong>The hourly pay range for this position is $21.80 - $27.00.&nbsp;</strong>Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed.</p>\n<p><strong>Join Our Team as a&nbsp;Health &amp; Safety Assistant (Co-op)!</strong></p>\n<p>The&nbsp;HR Program Coordinator will support the Senior Manager by performing a variety of administrative and coordination tasks within a manufacturing environment They will also support collecting and compiling data, as well as assisting in the preparation of environmental and safety-related reports.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collect and compile data and assists in preparing environmental and safety related reports.</li>\n <li>Assist in coordinating training and other health and safety related programs as needed.</li>\n <li>Updating and maintaining safety related tracking system.</li>\n <li>Answer employee inquiries about health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.</li>\n <li>Provide support for other health and safety related projects.</li>\n <li>Additional administrative duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Health and Safety or a similar field.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills to navigate the Physical Demands Analysis software program.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all written and verbal communications.</li>\n <li>A team player who is also able to work independently with minimum supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Effort:</strong></p>\n<p>Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace.
