Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>I2X Technologies is seeking a Logisitics Engineer</strong> to support ongoing activities for a customer in <strong>Boulder, CO</strong>. <strong>This position will be on-site and will require an active *TS with the ability to obtain SCI.</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>I2X Technologies is seeking a Logistics Engineer to support the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of logistics operations within our Research & Development (R&D) environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Project Engineering, Configuration Management, and Program Leadership to ensure efficient, cost-effective movement and auditing of materials and equipment (including receiving and tracking of software) to support our facility and program infrastructure.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze current logistics workflows and identify areas for efficiency, cost savings, and improved reliability.</li>\n <li>Update material tracking system of records for reporting and record-keeping.</li>\n <li>Audit as-built designs and asset management systems to physical configurations, to include Government Owned and Government Furnished Property (GFP)</li>\n <li>Develop and implement logistics solutions related to transportation, inventory control, warehousing, material handling, and distribution.</li>\n <li>Partner with hardware engineering, systems engineering, configuration management, and procurement on planning, forecasting, and material-movement strategies.</li>\n <li>Receive incoming material, physically verify that all ordered parts are present and correct, and record receipt details in the relevant system of record.</li>\n <li>Perform obsolescence planning and tracking to ensure material availability and lifecycle sustainment.</li>\n <li>Plan and lead annual material disposition events for the turn-in of excess, obsolete, failed/broken hardware to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).</li>\n <li>Support lifecycle management activities including tracking component lifespans, identifying end-of-life risks, and recommending suitable replacements or redesigns.</li>\n <li>Create process documentation, including workflow diagrams, material movement plans, and system requirements.</li>\n <li>Use analytics and modeling tools to evaluate logistics performance and support decision-making.</li>\n <li>Support facility layout planning, material routing strategies, and equipment utilization studies.</li>\n <li>Participate in continuous-improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>0-3 years experience.</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n <li>In lieu of Bachelor's degree, at least 4 years experience with logistics, supply chain optimization, or operations engineering (internships or full-time), will be required.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with logistics modeling tools, simulation platforms, or data analytics software i.e. AutoCAD, Visio and/or Sunbird.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements.</li>\n <li>Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process-improvement methodologies.</li>\n <li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced engineering environment.</li>\n <li>Top Secret Clerance required with the ability to obtain SCI</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional experience supporting engineering or R&D operations.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of project material planning, inventory optimization, or material-handling systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP or MRP systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Demands</p>\n<ul>\n <li>This is not a sedentary role and requires in-office support with regular movement around the office, transporting materials.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 35 lbs. as part of routine logistics activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>US Citizenship is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed . Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds.
