Located in the mountains of the Williamsburg countryside, Cove Forge strives to help our clients find lifelong sobriety.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Disorders We Treat</strong></p>\n<h2>Addiction and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment at Cove Forge Behavioral Health</h2>\n<p>At Cove Forge, men and women receive treatment for chemical dependencies, including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Alcohol Addiction</li>\n <li>Heroin Addiction</li>\n <li>Cocaine Addiction</li>\n <li>Meth Addiction</li>\n <li>Opioid Addiction</li>\n <li>Marijuana Abuse</li>\n <li>Synthetic Marijuana Abuse</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We also provide treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders. Every individual at our center works with both a chemical dependency counselor and a mental health counselor to ensure appropriate interventions are made at every level to address his or her concerns.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct individual, group or family counseling sessions as scheduled and document as required.</li>\n <li>Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.</li>\n <li>Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for patient.</li>\n <li>Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned patient.</li>\n <li>Evaluate the needs of the patient and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.</li>\n <li>Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment and incidents are completed timely and in a clear concise manner.</li>\n <li>Provide crisis intervention to patient as needed.</li>\n <li>Plan for aftercare for assigned patient.</li>\n <li>Act as a liaison with insurance carriers as requested.</li>\n <li>Provide case management duties for patient, ensuring individualized quality care.</li>\n <li>May assist in the training of new clinical staff and interns, providing direction and clinical guidance.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in social or health services field required and four or more years’ experience in counseling field required OR; Bachelor's degree in other field required </li>\n <li>Six or more years’ experience in the counseling field required OR;</li>\n <li>Master's degree in social or health services field required and</li>\n <li>Two or more years’ experience in the counseling field.
