The position will act as an ambassador on behalf of the company with customers, clients, and vendors in public.</span></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"> </span></strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Skills and/or Qualifications (not limited to):</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use computerized radiologic equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowledgeable of HIPAA guidelines and regulations.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Education and/or Experience:</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must be 18 years of age or older.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Required High School diploma or GED.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must obtain and maintain professional certification.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Mandatory reporting in both children and adult.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Basic Life Support/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"> </span></strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic,&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;fluoroscopic, and portable equipment</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowledge of physician protocols for specific studies</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Complete ABN billing forms for pre-ancillary services to ensure reimbursement</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Complete studies for pre-screening safety measures for ancillary services</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Research and obtain external images for upcoming surgical procedures</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Process imaging requests for patient referrals to external facilities</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Participates in quality control and quality assurance studies</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain compliance by submission of radiation badges to Landauer Dosimeter Company for monthly radiation read</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Performs daily quality checks on the Xray machine to guarantee proper operation and safety</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;Reports issues/malfunctions to Clinical Supervisor and contacts servicing company for assistance</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Yearly shield checks for safety of staff and patients.
