This role owns control system design and execution from development through commissioning and handoff, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and operational standards.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for engineers with strong experience in electrical and automation systems who enjoy solving complex technical challenges in both office and field environments. The Automation &amp; Controls Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and scalable control solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Develop and review electrical and control system designs, including schematics, interconnection diagrams, and control packages</li><li>Support full project lifecycle execution, including installation, configuration, commissioning, and performance testing</li><li>Program and configure PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems to meet operational and functional requirements</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and automation system issues, performing root cause analysis as needed</li><li>Ensure successful integration of new systems with existing site infrastructure and technologies</li><li>Participate in FAT, SAT, and user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and performance</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams to execute projects effectively</li><li>Maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, test records, and operating manuals</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal engineering procedures</li><li>Participate in risk assessments and promote strong safety practices across all activities</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and performance</li><li>Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li></ul>",
