    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for all aspects related to developing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes for the machining of centrifugal pump and compressor components. This position will also lead and drive continuous improvement projects that increase efficiency, productivity, quality and delivery through the elimination of waste and variation in manufacturing. The successful candidate will establish and foster strong, effective working relationships with shop-floor technicians and supervisors, peers within the Manufacturing Engineering team, and team members from Product Engineering, Planning, Quality and Supply Chain.</p>\n<p>This is a day shift, salaried position that works under limited supervision, reporting to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager on an Onsite work schedule. Travel up to 10% may be required.</p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in the maintenance of manufacturing processes for assigned areas of machining including development, validation, maintenance and improvement of;</li>\n <li>New Numerical Controlling programs</li>\n <li>Numerical Controlling program revisions</li>\n <li>Fixturing and tooling</li>\n <li>Standard Work (Process Sketches, In-Process Inspection Plans, Process Notes, etc.)</li>\n <li>BOM and shop floor routings</li>\n <li>Collects data and assists in the analysis of manufacturing costs in support of strategic Make/Buy decision making.</li>\n <li>Participant in executing all aspects of production traceability and configuration control including changes/corrections to bills of materials, shop-floor routings, technical work instructions, NC programs and inspection &amp; test plans.</li>\n <li>Participant in the NCM (Non-Conforming Material) disposition process.</li>\n <li>Assist in investigation, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions related to significant internal issues, customer complaints or third-party audits.</li>\n <li>Assist in cross functional teams in the application of Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste, variation and bottlenecks in the manufacturing, assembly, test and kit fabrication processes.</li>\n <li>Partner with Manufacturing Supervision to drive best-in-class TPM and 5s programs.</li>\n <li>Participant in the identification, justification, procurement, testing and implementation of capital equipment investments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>You Must Have</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>6+ months of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred</li>\n <li>6+ months of exposure with CAD/CAM software</li>\n <li>6+ months of knowledge of machining / metal cutting in a manufacturing environment and exposure to varied metallurgies (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel alloys, titanium, hastelloy, aluminum)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>We Value</b>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or other technical discipline.
