If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs and oversees civil engineering work, focused on site design components including site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure</li>\n <li>Performs and oversees conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation</li>\n <li>Completes and oversees detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for site civil aspects of treatment facility and infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Conducts and reviews stormwater hydraulic calculations and/or modeling and incorporates into the site civil design</li>\n <li>Develops, reviews, and coordinates permitting associated with site development for treatment facility and infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Assists with coordinating and performs quality reviews of subconsultant work</li>\n <li>Prepares and reviews technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables</li>\n <li>Reviews contractor submittals for conformance with contract drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Provides, coordinates, and oversees engineering services during construction</li>\n <li>Serves as the lead civil engineer for large multi-discipline projects and project manager on site/civil engineering projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience in civil/site development, stormwater, and permitting</li>\n <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer </li>\n <li>Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems</li>\n <li>Ability to develop and oversee working drawings for civil plans (site layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving) from sketches (determines scales, layout, and need for specific detail)</li>\n <li>Experience with the planning and design of facility layout and site design projects</li>\n <li>Experience with site development requirements and permitting; experience with environmental resource permits</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team</li>\n <li>Ability to manage, oversee, and train junior civil engineering staff</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field</li>\n <li>Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop engineering drawings</li>\n <li>Experience with GIS and/or stormwater hydrologic modeling software</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
