    "description": "<h2>All About You</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Quality Engineer</strong> will provide support to the QA and other teams on quality principles for monitoring and improving process and product quality. Supports the Saft World Class initiative as required.</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Take the lead in defining, performing and supporting the quality assurance activities in specific cell and/or battery production.</li>\n <li>Create and apply FMEA and Control Plan methods to assure the robustness of new and existing battery designs and processes.</li>\n <li>Use statistical methods as appropriate to establish sampling and quality plans, determine process capability, implement control charts and inspections.</li>\n <li>Analyze cell and battery performance data and process measurement data for special cause conditions and assist in implementing corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Implement and lead problem solving method through use of WC PDCA tool.</li>\n <li>Perform/assist in incoming inspection activities.</li>\n <li>Document control as applicable to testing and inspection of products from incoming to packaging as per work instructions and quality plans.</li>\n <li>Any other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate Degree preferred. Minimum of High School diploma/GED.</li>\n <li>Certifications in quality related tools desired but not required.</li>\n <li>Willingness to pursue certifications.</li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of FMEA, control Plan, and SPC approach for risk mitigation.</li>\n <li>Practical knowledge and application of quality principles and requirements.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret product engineering specifications and prints.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with measurement tools and systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with statistical analysis software and basic Microsoft office a plus.</li>\n <li>Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management standard requirements a plus.</li>\n <li>Work independently under the direction of standards. Good verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Good project management skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to influence change.
