We believe in “<em>Helping Kids Shine</em>”.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">This part-time, contracted position works as part of our Assessment Clinic team, including Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work and a Pediatrician.  Our clinic is contracted through PHSA to provide team based diagnostic assessments for Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions and Autism.  In addition, we offer privately funded assessments.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: windowtext; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Training at the doctoral level in<span> </span></span><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">child clinical psychology, pediatric neuropsychology, or a closely related area</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Recent related experience in child and adolescent assessment and diagnosis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Qualified Specialist Training an asset, but will facilitate training for the right candidate.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Exemplary communication skills – ability to listen, communicate and present ideas effectively, both orally and in writing, including the ability to present information in an accessible way to a variety of audiences. </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Efficient time management - ability to manage and complete tasks within allotted time.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proficiency in computer skills related to report writing and to recording and managing data.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated ability to collaborate with variety of professionals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equity Diversity and Inclusion</span></p>\n<p>FVCDC envisions a diverse, inclusive workforce that reflects our communities.
