    "jobDescription": "<p><i>[German Version below]</i></p><p></p><p>This role as <b>Financial Lines Senior Underwriter (f/m/x)</b> will offer a unique opportunity to drive our growth across several Eastern European countries and build our Financial Lines portfolio. We are looking for a talented individual with several years of experience in Financial Lines underwriting. The position requires both an ambition to build relationships across a large region but also the ability to handle multiple submissions from different countries and the desire to build a portfolio from the ground up. The successful candidate will design a strategy, set-up a process and underwrite risks to grow Financial Lines in Eastern Europe.</p><p></p><p>The position is located in Germany and reports to the Practice Leader Financial Lines Central and Eastern Europe. The goal is to manage and develop a portfolio and lead the organization towards realizing our mission as a leading insurer in Europe with focus on profitable growth.</p><p></p><p><b>Main Duties and Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Grow Financial Lines’ portfolio of Eastern European risks</li><li>Build relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally</li><li>Operate as the main Financial Lines contact for Eastern European brokers</li><li>Work closely with the actuarial team to make sure the portfolio is long term sustainable</li><li>Work closely with the European underwriting managers and the Head of FL Europe in setting a long-term strategy</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>extensive experience in Financial Lines underwriting preferably within multiple products</li><li>Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Law</li><li>Have a strong interest in negotiating and in analyzing risks</li><li>Have a positive, determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.</li><li>Be flexible, ambitious and independent</li><li>Strong written and verbal skills in English.
