    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Building Support Specialist Job Description</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">In this role, you will be assigned various daily tasks that will look different on a day-to-day basis.  These tasks include but are not limited to the following:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Building Support </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Serve as a substitute teacher when a team member is absent. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Greet students at arrival and help facilitate dismissal.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Support related arts teachers when needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Help students make transitions throughout the building (e.g., restroom, related arts, special services).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Assist with attendance, late arrivals, and breakfast. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Assist with front office support. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Cover maternity/paternity leave of absences. </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\"> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Help plate and deliver breakfast and lunches. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Student Support</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Support students both emotionally and academically in a variety of ways such as providing motor time for kids who need extra movement, running reading intervention groups, and holding social skills groups. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Push in as the second or third teacher in the room when needed. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Support students with special needs including children with 504 plans, one-on-one, or in a general education classroom setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Other tasks as determined by the leadership team. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">You are:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Qualified with ideally 2 years teaching and/or counseling experience at the elementary level.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Knowledgeable of positive behavioral interventions and support.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Able to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300\">Passionate about our purpose and the social impact we aspire to create.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;
