Competitive salaries and benefits packages are available as well as the opportunity to enhance learning and development for future growth.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are currently seeking to recruit an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Assistant Quantity Surveyor</span> who will work mainly on projects in the Co Kildare area.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job purpose - Assistant Quantity Surveyor</span></p>\n<p>Accountable for all assisting Senior Quantity Surveyor with all aspects of surveying and commercial functions on projects.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Responsible for:     <br>•    Assisting in preparation and updating of contract budget <br>•    Supporting commercial team in managing contractual and legal aspects of project<br>•    Liaison with Senior QS<br>•    Administration of contract records<br>•    Assisting in production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s<br>•    Attendance at relevant contract review meetings<br>•    Helping to updating of cash reporting and collection<br>•    Maintaining good relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and experience</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ability and knowledge of:</p>\n<p>•    Construction methods and technologies<br>•    Measurement and valuation<br>•    Ability to form good working relationships with all stakeholders<br>•    Knowledge and understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement<br>•    Prior exposure to preparation and understanding of commercial reports.<br>•    Contracts; bespoke and standard forms<br>•    Knowledge of health and safety, quality procedures and construction industry</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applicants should have two years' experience within a quantity surveying role.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span><br>There are many benefits to working with Ardmac.
