Here's what will set you up for success in this role:</p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or a similar role.</li><li>Strong SQL skills — writes clean, optimised queries and knows how to navigate a cloud data warehouse at scale.</li><li>Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in enterprise BI tools — Qlik Cloud preferred; strong Power BI, Tableau, or Looker experience also considered.</li><li>Experience designing semantic layers or data models for self-service analytics — has built infrastructure others can use independently, not just dashboards others depend on.</li><li>Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.</li><li>Translates between data and business teams without losing precision in either direction — can explain a metric definition to a finance lead and a schema decision to an engineer.</li><li>Fluent in English. German is a plus.</li><li>Based in Berlin and energised by being in the room. We're intentionally office-first — decisions get made in real time, data questions get answered over lunch, and the founding team is ten metres away.
