    "description": "<p>William Grant is looking to hire an experienced industrial sandblaster and painter to join our production team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential job duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Adhere to all applicable governing codes, customer specifications, and company procedures</span><br></li>\n<li>Read drawings and specifications to determine the kind and amount of work necessary</li>\n<li>Make on-site preparations (build scaffolding, cover fixtures and openings, etc.)</li>\n<li>Prepare surfaces for painting by sandblasting</li>\n<li>Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color and/or texture</li>\n<li>Apply finishes</li>\n<li><span>Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment; performs other routine maintenance duties</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with yard and shop activities (hydro testing, loading, shipping, deliveries, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span>Dispose of all waste appropriately</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school degree or equivalent</li>\n<li>Proven experience in industrial painting</li>\n<li>Good basic bath skills</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings</li>\n<li>Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing</li>\n<li>Proficient in English</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback</li>\n<li>Strong team building and decision-making</li>\n<li>High attention to detail</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<p>Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, medium work, visual acuity</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Benefits include health and dental insurance, supplemental insurance, Simple IRA retirement with company match, sick, vacation, and paid holidays.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applications are available at our main office.<br></p>",
