    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Title:</strong>&nbsp; Apprentice in Speech-Language (ASL)</p><p><strong>Job Category:</strong>&nbsp; Service Provider</p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Program Director</p><p><strong>FLSA Status:&nbsp;</strong>Non<strong>-</strong>Exempt</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Assists the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in client screenings, assessment, and evaluation processes. &nbsp;Implements speech-language therapy treatment plans as determined by the supervising SLP. &nbsp;Informs the SLP of client status change, upcoming reassessment/assessment dates and any other relevant information regarding client care. &nbsp;Assists the SLP in insuring a collaborative supervisory process. &nbsp;Assists in the maintenance of a safe and orderly operating business and maintains equipment as assigned. &nbsp;Participates in educational, research, and quality improvement projects.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"circle\"><li>License or eligibility for licensure as an Apprentice in Speech-Language with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department.</li><li>Enrolled in a graduate program from Accredited Communication Disorders program.</li></ul><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Works towards fulfilling Amplified Therapy, Inc.&rsquo;s (Company) Values, Vision, and Mission.</li><li>Performs a variety of therapy procedures on assigned caseload as directed by the SLP.</li><li>Assists the SLP in all aspects of the SLP process.</li><li>Attends meetings (IEP, IFSP, Team Conferences) as assigned to discuss student treatment programs and speech-language therapy concerns.</li><li>Participates in team discussions in an articulate, positive, and productive manner.</li><li>Maintains assigned equipment in proper working order. &nbsp;Performs routines repairs.</li><li>Instructs staff, as assigned, in principles used in occupational including but not limited to the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency techniques specific to individual needs.</li><li>Adheres to established Company guidelines within Company&rsquo;s Official Documents.</li><li>May represent the Company while participating in community outreach events, activities, meetings, trainings, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Completes all documentation in a timely manner.</li><li>Attends departmental/business staff development activities.</li><li>Adheres to ASL licensure requirements.</li><li>Participates in Company&rsquo;s Professional Development Plan.</li><li>Carries out all responsibilities professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Maintains effective communications at all levels; within the work setting and company.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Due to the nature of the Company, service delivery settings will vary. &nbsp;Must be able to adapt to a variety of settings and be willing to work in clinical, community, and home settings.</li><li>Work area may be crowded.</li><li>Working schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.</li><li>Duties may involve being on one&rsquo;s feet for extended periods.</li><li>Duties may involve traveling to and from areas within the western region of New Mexico.</li><li>Duties may involve exposure to hazardous conditions using power tools, contagious diseases, and chemicals to repair/adjust patient equipment.</li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.</li></ul><p>I have read, understand, and agree to the above, described job duties.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
