margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span><strong>Position Overview:</strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>The <strong>Assistant Vice President, E&amp;S Casualty</strong>, with wholesale broker relationships and knowledge of E&amp;S Casualty risks, will have frequent interaction with wholesale brokers in providing coverage for new and renewal businesses based on the customers’ needs.&nbsp; This role will work with internal and external business partners to find insurance solutions for risks.&nbsp; The incumbent will work in a team environment, demonstrate a strong customer focus that will over time, reinforce E&amp;S Casualty’s appetite and strategy.&nbsp; The Assistant Vice President will possess strong decision-making skills, be detailed oriented, and be able to build &amp; sustain relationships, results driven and have a track record of working in a fast-paced environment and manage direct reports.&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Grow and maintain a profitable book of business through execution of individual risk underwriting and adherence to the strategic plan of the unit.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Work independently within delegated underwriting authority and make referrals as required.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Cultivate and maintain relationships with peers, leaders and internal partners across functional areas to identify cross-selling opportunities, assist in product development and operational excellence.</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Foster and maintain external relationships with wholesale brokers in an effort to market and sell Ascot’s products.</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Provide superior service to brokers and clients and create visibility through consistent engagement with trading partners.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Work independently within delegated underwriting authority and make referrals as required.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Stay current on competition, underwriting environment, market conditions and share that knowledge with colleagues and leadership.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Manages Associate Underwriters and Interns</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Perform other duties as assigned.</span></li><li style=\"color: rgb(14, 16, 26);
