Are you motivated by creating sustainable change that benefits society and nature?&#xa0;If this sounds interesting to you, and you’re curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you!&#xa0;</p><p>Ramboll is looking for experienced candidates for the full-time position of Acoustical Managing Consultant.&#xa0; These positions would be physically located in the Northeast United States.&#xa0; The Acoustical Managing Consultants will work in a challenging and variable environment that will include project management, client interaction, direction/mentoring of junior staff, and detail-oriented independent work.</p><p><strong>Your new role</strong></p><p>As our new Acoustic Managing Consultant,&#xa0;you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management knowledge to an international client base. Our team is growing to meet the expanding environmental noise and vibration assessment needs of clients across various sectors – including infrastructure, data centers, renewable energy, ports, and transportation.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p>Your key responsibilities will potentially include:</p><ul><li>Managing acoustical consulting projects and client relationships</li><li>Leading teams and mentoring team members to develop and deliver innovative acoustical design solutions that address complex environmental noise challenges</li><li>Managing technical analyses related to environmental noise surveys, sound level analyses, computer modeling (CadnaA, SoundPlan, or similar), and mitigation design/specification</li><li>Preparing reports and communicating results to clients as well as preparing proposals and fee estimates</li><li>Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, provincial, and federal environmental regulations</li></ul><p><strong>Your new team</strong></p><p>As part of the team, you will be part of a creative group, filled with people who are really excited about solving clients’ problems and creating sustainable solutions for them. You will work with all levels of technical expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their own fields. And you will engage in a continual learning environment through coaching, mentoring, and on the job tasks.</p><p><strong>About you </strong></p><p>From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. While we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success. These include:</p><ul><li>B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics related major</li><li>9 or more years of experience <u>in acoustical consulting</u>, specifically environmental noise assessment</li><li>Proven success in project team leadership in acoustical consulting</li><li>Experience delivering acoustical consultation and design across industry sectors such as manufacturing, technology, energy, water, and transportation, via various project delivery methods including design-bid-build and design-build (turnkey)</li><li>Working familiarity applying acoustical-related industry standards such as ISO and ANSI</li><li>Demonstrated experience implementing environmental noise assessments in compliance with NEPA or comparable state or international requirements.</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li><li>Excellent analytical and organizational skills</li><li>Solid spreadsheet, noise modeling, and software tool skills</li><li>Demonstrated capabilities in understanding and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations</li></ul><p><strong>What we can offer you</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible work arrangements</li><li>Generous Paid Time Off</li><li>Excellent health and retirement benefits</li><li>Investment in your development</li><li>Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles</li><li>Be valued for the unique person you are</li><li>Never be short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects</li><li>The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company</li></ul><p><strong>Salary Transparency</strong></p><p>Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $126,000 - $157,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
