We provide leading‐edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light‐directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The Fabricator operates fabricating machines to create structural steel products used in industrial automation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operating fabrication shop and machine shop machinery and equipment, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punches, to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures</li>\n <li>Reading job specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements</li>\n <li>Setting stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template</li>\n <li>Positioning workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade</li>\n <li>Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation</li>\n <li>Detects workpiece defects and machine malfunctions</li>\n <li>Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from workpiece</li>\n <li>Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, die, or workpieces</li>\n <li>Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints</li>\n <li>Knowledge of standard and metric measurements</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and detail-oriented</li>\n <li>Team orientation</li>\n <li>LOTO certification required</li>\n <li>Crane operation certification required</li>\n <li>Forklift operation experience preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Availability to work on Saturdays as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ADA Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Medium work:</strong> Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li>\n <li><strong>Reaching:</strong> Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.</li>\n <li><strong>Standing:</strong> Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.</li>\n <li><strong>Walking:</strong> Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.</li>\n <li><strong>Pushing:</strong> Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.</li>\n <li><strong>Pulling:</strong> Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.</li>\n <li><strong>Lifting:</strong> Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.</li>\n <li><strong>Grasping:</strong> Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. </li>\n <li><strong>Hearing:</strong> Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.</li>\n <li><strong>Visual:</strong> The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to:</strong> inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.</li>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to:</strong> hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-DNP</p>\n<h2>Job Posting Min Salary</h2>USD $20.00\n<h2>Job Posting Max Salary</h2>USD $30.00",
