Solitude Spa is looking for dedicated massage therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, is a team player, a motivated self-starter, and is eager to learn and grow within the field of massage therapy. </p><p>In this role, you will work within a tourism/hospitality mountain resort spa, providing treatments to high-expectation clientele, including tourists, owners, and locals. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic team across all resort departments. </p><p>Enjoy the unique and amazing benefits of working at Solitude Mountain Spa and Resort. </p><p>  </p><p><b>SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: </b></p><ul><li>Licensed massage therapist, hold an active license and qualified to work in the State of Utah </li><li>Experience in or willingness to learn Swedish massage, hot stone massage, sports massage, and deep-tissue massage </li><li>Experience in or willingness to learn a variety of body treatments, including body wraps, body scrubs, hot stone massage, etc. </li><li>Professional and positive attitude  </li><li>Dependable and be punctual </li><li>Strong communication skills  </li><li>Ability to adapt and customize for each individual guest&#39;s needs </li><li>Perform multiple high-quality, consistent, massages and body treatments per working day </li><li>Ability to stand for up to 6-8 hours each day </li><li>Commuting Big Cottonwood Canyon via reliable transportation with required approved snow tires and or chains, UTA bus, or employee carpool, in many variable seasonal road conditions  </li><li>Willing to work flexible hours that include weekends and holidays </li></ul><p></p><p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Performing all massage therapists’ treatments and services efficiently </li><li>Arriving 20 minutes prior to your first service in spa, ready and on time on site to receive clients </li><li>Ensuring massage therapists&#39; rooms are clean, in working order, set up, completed cleaning list and stocked properly so that it is presentable for next treatment or working day </li><li>Recommending retail, services, and product knowledge of the spa  </li><li>Assisting in team closing procedures at end of shift </li><li>Restocking products, towels, linens, and spa supplies </li><li>Understanding and adhering to all spa policies, schedules, protocols, and procedures </li><li>Contributing to any additional aid or assistance of the spa, the Inn, or other department as needed </li><li>Attending all spa team meetings and trainings  </li></ul><p></p><p><b>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT </b> <br />Solitude Mountain Resort is an equal opportunity employer.  It is the policy of the Company to recruit, hire, train, assign, promote, and transfer the best qualified individual for each job opening and provide such employment opportunities without regard to sex, race, religious creed, color, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, nationality, age, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, pregnancy, sexual preference, sexual orientation, genetic  information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable state or federal law.
