    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>We are looking for a talented Marine Application Engineer to join our team specializing in Marine Engineering for Cummins, Inc. in New Orleans, LA.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Investigate and resolve integration and installation issues, owning problem resolution and documenting outcomes.</span></li>\n <li><span>Apply and continuously improve installation and integration processes (e.g., IQA, OEM integration, product selection).</span></li>\n <li><span>Use engineering tools and systems (Advisor, COLS, GCE) to support accurate, high‑quality technical decisions.</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate and negotiate with SMEs and VPI teams to deliver product data and installation requirements.</span></li>\n <li><span>Make product selection, design, and integration decisions affecting OEM performance, quality, and optimization.</span></li>\n <li><span>Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, managing specifications, changes, and issue resolution.</span></li>\n <li><span>Translate customer needs and voice of the customer into functional product and system requirements.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure correct product application and installation by validating prototypes and installation quality.</span></li>\n</ul>",
