Benefits begin the month following the hire date.</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong></p><p>$29.57/hourly+ 10% night shift differential</p><p><strong>Summary</strong><br>\n<br>\nThe Extruder Operator III position ensures that the production line is up to speed, all weights are recorded correctly on rolls, and that proper setup of the line is complete to ensure maximum production among many other duties. This role will Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe work environment. &#xa0;This position may fill in for the Group Leader as needed.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Work with the team to perform proper start-up operations to bring line to production.</li><li>Perform proper shutdown of the lines, including when to shut off PIB, drop heats, and turn the extruders off.</li><li>Successfully fill out the process check sheet every two (2) hours and correct any process issues.</li><li>Change screen packs for all extruders.</li><li>Ensure that the hour-by-hour boards are updated: record production, understand goals, document problems, and communicate maintenance issues.</li><li>Ensure that all hems and rolls are first quality rolls, be able to troubleshoot quality issues, and resolve manufacturing problems related to quality.</li><li>Correctly fill out the pump log sheets.</li><li>Depending on location: Ensure that roll weights are correct, Extrol trends are within product tolerance, and drop speeds are correct.</li><li>Fill silos with raw material.</li><li>Operate the ESTL machine for quality checks and correctly adjust the process to mitigate any quality defects.</li><li>Be able to operate a forklift and move products as needed.</li><li>Ensure proper packaging materials are used for product type.</li><li>Walking up and down stairs to lace the line.</li><li>Keep the work area clean following the 6S process.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>",
