(APA). &nbsp;In this role, the individual will provide product due diligence for SMAs, mutual funds and third-party mutual fund wrap programs; generate research, create data and add in-depth product support; act as the subject matter expert on the separate account managers; and review and add investment options that keeps American Portfolios at the forefront of investment alternatives.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Provide product due diligence for SMAs, mutual funds and third-party mutual fund wrap programs</li><li>Generate research, create data and add in-depth product support to all APA advisors and sales support teams for all advisory products&nbsp;</li><li>Act as the subject matter expert on the separate account managers in APA-managed account solutions</li><li>Verify performance for in-house investment strategies and liaise with GIPS consulting team</li><li>Review and add investment options that keeps American Portfolios at the forefront of investment alternatives</li><li>Remain current on and be able to benchmark each manager&rsquo;s performance&nbsp;</li><li>Structure portfolios using multiple managers for single client</li></ul><p><strong><u>Job Requirements</u></strong></p><ul><li>High-level understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction</li><li>Excellent writing and communications skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and produce positive results with minimal direction&nbsp;</li><li>Capability to interact with all levels of staff and management</li><li>Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as PowerPoint</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Education and Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree with a concentration in economics or finance, or related work experience</li><li>FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65/66 licenses</li><li>Experience with mutual funds, mutual wrap programs and SMAs</li><li>Professional designation(s) of CFA, CIMA and/or CFP preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Limitations and Disclaimer</em></strong></p><p>The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
