For more information, visit AUProSports.com . \n\n In June 2025, AU transformed and expanded its softball business by launching the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), a premier professional women’s softball league. In 2026, additional teams have been added, converting to a fully city based model, bringing in team owners, and building out ancillary business, fan and partner engagement opportunities. \n\nAthletes Unlimited is seeking hardworking, passionate, and committed individuals to join the AUSL Pro Shop Seasonal Operations Staff (SOS) in College Station, TX for the AUSL Championship. These individuals will play a vital role in game day and/or practice operations. In this role, you will help drive the fan experience through retail sales and floor maintenance while assisting with the full lifecycle of shop operations.  Candidates must be local to College Station for the duration of the season.\n\nThe AUSL Championship schedule can be found here. Game days are on the following dates: July 23 & July 25 27.\n\n Schedule: \n\nApprox. 4 6hr shifts on game days. SOS staff will be expected 2 hours before the first pitch time through the end of games.\n\n Responsibilities \n\n Customer Engagement & Sales: Greet and proactively assist customers, providing accurate product information regarding sizing, pricing, and availability to ensure a premium fan experience\n Transaction Management: Efficiently check out customers at the point of sale and manage merchandise exchanges or returns\n Shop Maintenance: Maintain the sales floor by cleaning assigned areas and ensuring all merchandising follows brand guidelines\n Inventory Oversight: Assist with ongoing inventory procedures, including garment steaming, counts, and consistent replenishment of floor stock\n Communication: Inform customers about active discounts or special offers and relay relevant fan feedback to leadership\n Seasonal Operations: Support comprehensive store Load In (3 days prior to venue opening) and end of season break down (Load Out) procedures, if available\n Additional duties assigned by the Senior Director of eComm & Retail, Senior Director of Sports Operations, Director of Sport and/or Assistant of Operations\n\n Requirements\n\n Prior work experience as a Retail Associate (or a similar role)\n Strong communication skills with a customer first mindset and a friendly, professional demeanor\n Trustworthy, hard working, and able to perform in fast paced environments\n Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks including lifting, garment steaming, and store setup/breakdown\n Availability for the AUSL Championship dates of July 23 & July 25 27\n Ability to work weekends and non traditional hours when in season\n Must be based in or near the College Station, TX area\n Legal authorization to work in the United States\n\n Benefits\n\nThe rate for this position is $20/hr.\n\nAs this is a seasonal position, traditional employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans are not included. 1099 Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance coverage.\n\n Our DEI Statement \n\nAs a company, we share a vision to change the world for the better and believe in the power of sports to tear down barriers.
