The Scale Clerk weighs trucks and performs basic recordkeeping and customer functions.</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Pay:</strong> $19.50</div><div><strong>Shift/Schedule:</strong> Day Shift: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays as needed</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div><ul><li>Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability</li><li>Year round, non-weather dependent employment</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs</li><li>Student Loan Repayment Program</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>The Scale Clerk will:</div><div><ul><li>Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks while adhering to state weight restrictions</li><li>Communicate effectively over CB radio and handheld two-way radio</li><li>Deliver customer service excellence via telephone, radio, e-mail, face to face, or other means</li><li>Provide directions and assistance to customers and drivers</li><li>Process paperwork, enter information and create standardized reports</li><li>Support the site in the function of time and attendance tracking and mobile equipment fuel/hour reporting</li><li>Handle cash sales</li><li>Keep the work area clean and tidy</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><div>The ideal candidate will have:</div><div><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to Lift up to 25 lbs.</li><li>Knowledge of scale operations</li><li>Knowledge of local geography, truck routes and weight laws (desired, but willing to train)</li><li>Good organizational, decision making and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work in fast paced environment while managing competing priorities</li><li>Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, Command and Oracle a plus</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings</li><li>Must be willing and able to travel locally and work in a construction environment</li><li>Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as needed</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>To Apply</strong></div><div>Please submit your resume.
