The custodian helps provide a pleasant, cleanly environment in which our community works and worships, and in that helps raise their hearts and minds to the Father.&nbsp; </span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">II.&nbsp; MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Assures the church building, parish office, and Old St Nicholas Church are maintained in a clean and orderly manner including dry mopping floors, wet mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, laundering cleaning related items, collecting and disposing of trash / recycling items and washing windows.</span></p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Assures that the Church is clean and ready for Sunday Mass, as well as, for any Holy Days of Obligation, Funerals, Weddings, and other special events. Also tidies up after the weekend. </span></p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Works with the Parish Hall Custodian to manage cleaning supplies, keeping an inventory and coordinating with vendors to ordering new supplies as needed. </span></p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Performs occasional &ldquo;deep cleaning&rdquo; when necessary. This may include but is not limited to carpet cleaning, waxing floors, scrubbing grout, polishing brass. </span></p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Provides custodian coverage for other buildings as directed by the Parish administrator when other staff members are unavailable.</span></p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p style=\"margin-left:24px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Performs other duties as assigned. </span></p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n",
