Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>#FacilitiesMaintenance #BuildingMaintenance #HVACJobs #MaintenanceJobs #MaintenanceTech #electrician #Electrical #ASHE #EPA #OSHA </em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains and rebuilds hermetically and semi-hermetically sealed compressor systems by using a hermetic compressor analyzer and electrical tester to isolate the malfunctioning parts.</li>\n <li>Recharges a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems by selecting the appropriate refrigerant and ensuring that all foreign matter is eliminated to provide optimum cooling capacity.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and repairs refrigeration-related electrical components.</li>\n <li>May service and maintain centrifugal and absorption chillers by removing and replacing motors, adjusting and inspecting motor coolants, replacing tube bundles and performing electrical repairs.</li>\n <li>Completes required after-hours on-call rotation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Knowledge / Skills / Abilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of refrigerants used in commercial and residential applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to determine solutions to basic problems.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work unsupervised.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3>\n<h4>Required</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years of experience in refrigeration repair, or the equivalency.</li>\n <li>Current Environmental Protection Agency license.</li>\n <li>Experience in silver-soldering.</li>\n <li>Depending upon department of hire, a valid, State of Utah Driver's License may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications (Preferred)</h2>\n<h4>Preferred</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Certification from an accredited HVAC & R college.</li>\n <li>Technical training in refrigeration and electrical controls.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Working Conditions and Physical Demands</h3>\n<p><em>Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position involves very physical work that may exert up to 100 pounds and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects.
