    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Procuring direct, indirect and shop supplies, services and equipment as required.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Planning and issuing PO’s to suppliers based on material requirements.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Generate cost savings via negotiating, alternate sourcing or process improvements.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Drive inventory reduction using lean principles internally and externally.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Improve material flow thru lean manufacturing systems internally and with external suppliers.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and implement system improvements through Oracle and Excel to better support production, reporting of metrics and improve material flow.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;First point of escalation to resolve supplier issues and concerns.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Effective and efficient transition of new materials into the supply chain.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Resolve A/P issues.</p><p><strong>Education/ Skills/ Experience:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;BS/BA Degree with a minimum of three to five years experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Certifications of CPM and/or CPIM are preferred.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to read, analyze and negotiate contracts, strategic agreements, financial reports and legal documents<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lean experience is preferred.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent communications skills with business partners in all levels of the organization in a cross cultural environment.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work with minimal supervision.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Some travel may be required.</p><p><br><strong>Physical Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><p><br><strong>Physical Demands&nbsp;</strong></p><p><br>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
