Why we need you Omise is seeking a detail-oriented and operationally strong Compensation and Benefits Specialist to support payroll, employee benefits, compensation administration, and compliance activities across Thailand and Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant compensation and benefits operations while delivering a high level of employee support and service. You will work closely with Finance, People Operations, external payroll vendors, insurance providers, and employees to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, comfortable working with confidential employee data, and capable of balancing operational accuracy with employee experience. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys process ownership, compliance, and supporting scalable HR operations within a fast-paced technology environment. What you will be doing Payroll and Compensation Operations Support monthly payroll processing with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders Prepare and validate payroll inputs including salary adjustments, overtime, allowances, deductions, incentives, reimbursements, and leave balances Coordinate payroll-related changes including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and employment updates Review payroll reports and employee data to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance Support annual salary review cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and compensation adjustments Assist with compensation benchmarking and salary data analysis Prepare compensation reports and HR operational data for leadership and Finance teams Ensure compensation processes comply with Thai labor law and internal company policies Benefits Administration Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, group insurance, wellness programs, and employee support initiatives Coordinate employee enrollments, removals, claims, renewals, and vendor communications Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, and compensation matters Support annual benefits reviews and vendor renewal processes Monitor benefit usage, employee feedback, and market trends to support continuous improvements Maintain accurate benefits records and employee documentation Compliance and Employee Lifecycle Support Support onboarding and offboarding activities related to payroll and benefits administration Coordinate final salary calculations, severance support, social security updates, and required exit documentation Ensure employee records and compensation information remain accurate within HR systems Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee compensation and personal data Support labor compliance activities, audits, and reporting requirements Assist in updating compensation and benefits related policies, SOPs, and operational documentation HR Operations and Process Improvement Maintain compensation and benefits documentation within HR systems and internal knowledge platforms Support process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and employee experience Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Office Management teams Assist with reporting and workforce analytics related to compensation and benefits operations You A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, or related HR functions Strong understanding of Thai labor law, payroll administration, and employee benefits operations Experience working with payroll vendors, insurance providers, and employee support processes Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, and employee lifecycle administration Experience maintaining HR documentation, compliance records, and operational processes Native level Thai and fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Comfortable handling confidential employee and compensation data Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency with spreadsheets, HRIS systems, Google Workspace, and payroll tools Strong stakeholder management and employee support skills Basic analytical and reporting capabilities Nice to Have Experience working within technology, fintech, startup, or regional organizations Experience supporting multi-country HR operations across Southeast Asia Familiarity with compensation benchmarking or salary structure reviews Experience supporting labor audits or HR compliance reviews Knowledge of HR analytics and workforce reporting Experience working with BambooHR, HRIS systems, or payroll platforms How to apply If you liked what you read and believe to be up for the challenge, we'd be pleased to welcome you to the recruitment process for this position.
