Enjoy local routes, daily home time, competitive pay, and a supportive culture built on safety and respect.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Vehicle Operation        </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely operates company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations</li>\n <li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness</li>\n <li>Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional training such as Forklift, and other specified equipment may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic understanding and knowledge of the operation of a forklift and other equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Delivery & Customer Service</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips</li>\n <li>Ensure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, always representing the company positively</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>The ability to unload, protect, move and stage materials as specified by customer directive</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Safety</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Adheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Communication        </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Training Requirements</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend and participate in all required company training programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li><strong>Physical Job Requirements   </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation</li>\n <li>Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day</li>\n <li>Occasionally lift and/or move 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs</li>\n <li>Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.
